" ... Next up was another of the less familiar concertos, No.8 in C Major, K. 246 in a sprightly, thoroughly thought out
and marvelously projected performance by Yeonjoo Bae. Many young Mozart players make the mistake of performing
this music in a miniature dynamic frame which robs the audience of the opportunity to "get" all the subtleties Mozart
took such delight in building into these works. Rather like an actor who mumbles his lines onstage, it's a kind of
rudeness to the audience that is regrettably common. Well, not from Ms. Bae. From the first phrase she leapt gracefully
out over the orchestra and showed us every shining facet of this witty and glittering piece. Every phrase followed
through to its conclusion, every articulation consistent and well considered, it was playing with real polish and color.
Ms. Bae is a genuinely engaging and musicianly performer. ..."

" Yeonjoo is a serious musician, with great capability in both instrumental mastery and artistic awareness.
In Lübeck she had occasion to perform a number of times and always acquitted herself admirably,
most impressively with a riveting performance of the Ravel Concerto in G."
